The purpose of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is to promote the development of a viable urban community by providing for decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for low and moderate-income persons. The CDBG program does this through identifying and implementing eligible activities. Eligible activities that qualify under the United States Department of Housing
and Urban Development include:

Notice is hereby given that the City of Chino Hills is applying for entitlement grant funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The City of Chino Hills invites eligible agencies to submit applications for CDBG Public Service Funds. Applications will be accepted by the City of Chino Hills Community Services Department, located at 14000 City Center Drive, Chino Hills, CA, 91709 on or before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
